I'd like to buy a pair of Baggy's as saddle sore after every ride not the best feeling.
What Baggy's do you own and would recommend?

Are we talking baggy jeans here? Quicksilver if thats the case. Find a good cut that suits you and buy two pairs and you'll get years out of them. The only true way to get rid of saddle sores is to buy cycling shorts though as they cut down on friction. Im sure theres undershorts you can buy

I wouldn't have put yours on anyway, on account of you being a n00b

If you're after specific bike shorts that don't make you look like a lycra gimp, I can't recommend Endura Humvees highly enough. They come with a padded liner short which will go some way to alleviating the pain, but are also removeable which makes the outer baggy shorts perfect for walking or whatever.

Thats more the kinda thing I'm after flyingmonkeycorps cheers. What material are they?0

The outer is ripstop nylon, the inner is lycra coolmax, I think. I bought a cheapy pair first, forgot to take them on a ride and got the Hummvees from the shop that was there, and I wish I'd got them in the first place. They're really comfy and cool. Only slight problem I've found is they're quite long and I've caught them on the pedals when off the bike, but nothing really to worry about. Loads of pockets too, if you like pockets.

I've got the 3/4 humvees. They're the buisness. I wore them all through the winter but you'd probably want the regular short version for the summer.

I recently brought a pair of Fox Sergeant shorts, and they are exellent. Look really cool and with padded liner are very comfy too.

Enduro Singletracks are worth a look. Not to long, not to short and you can buy a liner (similar to the humvess) which clips in.

Just bought some 'Revolution Trail Shorts' œ34.95 from Edinburgh Bicycle Co-operatives. Made by Endura apparently and include the detachable liner. Look good, just hope they are as good as they sound.0

Err what's wrong with wearing Lycra shorts under normal baggies that way you get a decent pair of Lycra's that work and are comfy? Or am I just missing the point?0

I used to buy baggy bike shorts, but then it dawned on me. if you just get a pair on normal lycra ones, you can wear them underneath anything you want, jeans, combats, whatever. Hell, even a bernard mathews!tail dress if you're that way inclined!
NEVER wear them on their own though, i have no idea how that concept came about, just treat them like underwear!
