I have been looking at these and i like the P1 and the fact that its a single speed but i have been told it has low gearing and is hard to get to a good speed. Am i better of spending œ50 more and getting the P2 cro-mo or is this slow idea a load of rubbish?

what do you want to use it for? i think single speed is fine, i can go fast enough with it

Its for jumps and light DH because i cant afford a real DHer.

I have the P2 (Alu). Not rode the Cromo's but the P2 has always been a slightly better frame. Can be to do with lots of different things why its better.

if you want it for DH as well, would it be worth forking out the extra for the p.all mountain?

gears for DH really also the all mountain would be the better choice but its a bit more expensive

my mates got the p all mountain, swears by it! and he can keep up with me downhilling and ive got a DH style bike :S id better get practising...... Whistler anyone?
