Hi,
Just wondering what its like a place to go, seeing as im currently living about 30minutes away from wrexham and fiarly keen to get out and make use of the weirdly sunny weather!
Ive spend a day at the northface trail recently, at grizedale, how does it compair to that. In terms of skill required, etc.
The northface was a dam good day out, and thoughly good fun, with us pottering round in about 2hours.
Thoughts?

I've been to the North Face trail at Grizdale and can honestly say i thought it was terrible.
It just didn't seem to flow at all.
Now, Llandegla is a different thing entirely: It's awesome.
Of the six or seven trails i've ridden in Wales, it beats them all, easily.
The red run may be short, but my god it's good fun! Plus you can do the whole thing, or just bits of it, as many times as you wish / can.
The shop / centre / restaurant place is equally as impressive, with great food and friendly faces.
All in all, get down there, if you haven't already!

It's a 10K BMX track. Awesome fun. Lots there for every sort of rider. Go play.

Only just got into mountain biking and went here at the weekend.
I stuck to the blue route and thoroughly enjoyed it. Lots of friendly faces and the bacon & egg barm at the end was great.
Fantastic facilities all round. Hope other trail centres are as good.0 -
Llandegla is good, so yes I'd reccomend it. Much fun and some interesting bits to keep you on your toes.

Well, i went...
Totatly out of the blue a mate i havnt seen in 6months phoned me up, and said he was passing loughborough on the M1 going for a day in Llangedla from bath, and would i like to go!!
- So off i went!
And yeah, i was very impressed.
- We did the red route first in about 1h30, then had lunch, and went round again doing the black sections as well.
The first uphill burn was a bit like hard work the first time, less fun than the climb on the north face, and at the end of it i was almost dissapointed. Although it was a good morning non the less.
- However, after running down the big long black section and some of the burns in that, i was ontop of the moon.
- I wasnt sure i was upto the black sections, and even still im sure someone a little better could make it a lot cooler. But i really enjoyed it anyway and would deffonatly recomend it anyone.
Cracking day out!

Yeah, the black sections are good.. last time i rode it, the last black section, i glanced a mud bank, sending me off. still got the scabs to prove it. And the second black section is mint, with all the fast turns, and flowy drops. depending on the condition of my knee, i'll be there next week sometime.
