Leisure Lakes are iirc the only place apart from 24seven that will be stocking them, fu<s></s>ck knows why they have a picture of it in their catalogue and the pic in question has been there since January I think.

there is one out there. at the filthy 48 they had one to test ride. i expect they will bring it out earlier than 06 or bring their 06 range out earlier. it does look nice and is a treat to ride so dont knock it till you've ridden it

When I got chatting to Fraiser at the bike show last month he said there would be changes till it was released in a few months (R.E. The chainline). IMO it does look like it's actually a bodged A-Level Mechanical Engineering project gone tits up.

iirc lakies own 24seven so they are gonna stock the bikes.
it is in there 05 catalogue, but that dont mean anyhting now, how many places were selling Magura Thor forks? i can think of a few that had 'in stock, delivered in 2-3 days' next to them too.

Yup, Lakies do own them. And it's due for August time.
The frame was supposed to be released sooner but they've had a few er problems (Yes, the chainline!) so have had to go back to the drawing board.

Their also strengthening up the shock mount swing arm too.

Should be a class frame for not a lot of money when it comes out....

Right shall i settle this once and for all. As the co designer of said frame it will be out end july/august time, there have been modifications (chainline), shock placement, suspension action tweaks etc. The bike at the show was merely a very first prototype to check geometry and pivot location, nothing more. It was never syllabub!! I shouldnt have got Fraser to bring it to the show if there would be this much bad chat on it. It was just something nice to show to say hey 24seven are bringing out a long travel steel dh/freeride rig.

Hope that has settled it. And the next prototype will be in in a month or so, then production of 100 for end jult/august. It will have a slightly different rear end and in my opinion looks really sweet! (Well i am the designer!)
