Morning all. Usual parkrun this morning followed by being dragged around by young oxo car hunting. Well chilly outside and still scrape the car cold. Have set rollers up as suspect I may not be out on the bike for a few days. Was hoping for a quiet wkend but suspect not.

Brr. Wet front has been and gone and we're bracing for 20 to 40 cm of snow. Yeah sure. I'll believe it when I see it.
Sky cleared over night to leave a slight frost.
Today chores and peace with the DW's out of the way.
Beans is a bit under the weather. If he's like this on Monday, it's down to the vet woman.

Frosty again, had a dusting of snow overnight, supposed to be fair and cold until the predicted snow comes overnight.
Off to Weegieland later for a couple of DIY tasks for daughter no1. Will be fed unhealthy food whilst there.

Frosty here. May need a new battery on the car so off to have it checked and maybe replaced. The headed to get supplies etc. Snow forecast later, which will do juniors attempt to head back to uni no favours.

Morning.
Very frosty here. Not as thick ice as yesterday on car. I always use a watering can of cold water to deice instead of scraping. Yesterday required scraping as well.
Shoot sleep. Up at 6. Sainsbury's done. Strangely quiet there which was nice.
Lie down and tea needed. Coffee after. Wifeling is packing food into new fridge freezer. Gives the opportunity to try the "super cool" button.

Rubber seals on car doors and boots now treated with silicone spray lube. Hopefully it'll stop them freezing shut again.
Lunch then Uni drop off beckons.

I boil 1/3rd to a half a kettle, fill with cold water and pour. Never had any cracked glass.

Daughter now dropped at uni.
Probably a record time too. 16 mins there. 10 mins unpacking. 14 mins back. 🤣
Peace and quiet. Love her but she's so argumentative and contrary.

Evening folks,
Traditional slow start was enjoyed, this was followed by dismantling all the Christmas tut. Then over to the old dear's place to check things out because she might come back next week. Popped over to see loopy aunt and uncle as he's back from hospital. He was in one of his delusional phases, fretting about the hire car and getting it back. Told him not to worry we'd sort it for him. All was fine until he asked what make it was.
