Moaning Folks,
Those car windscreen/door mirror covers came in handy this morning. Although still had to scrape the side windows. Hounds have a trip to the groomer (bang on time for the freezing weather) and a I'm sorting a couple of new front tyres for junior's car later on.
Officially on holiday today but may do a bit of work at some point point so that Monday isn't a complete 'mare (been off for over 2 weeks).

Very icy still here at midday. My rehab walk got well dodgy at times, seemed every bit of road or pavement that was still shaded was ice coated. Did not fall over 👍 though did deploy the crutch at times for stability.

Cold and icy here too so no riding outside. Went on the turbo in the stone shed and I thought I might have wear gloves at one point. Now just chilling, might watch the cyclocross in a bit.

Afternoon all.
Brrrrrr! Super chilly start here. -4.5 according to garden thermometer! Early start as had to nip to shops to get IV nurses some chocolate. Had appointment at 10 today. Car totally iced. Got it all clear after 10 mins but handbrake had frozen on. A bit of gentle back and forth loosened it up enough to drive. Any heat from binding would soon free it properly.
Popped into Scruffix on way back. Picked up hooks, towel rings and new led back hallway light so new fridge door doesn't keep knocking it! Yes it really is that high.
So busy afternoon of DIY. All done bar putting tools away.
About to crack on with lasagne and hasselback roasties as youngest back to uni tomorrow afternoon. Nice to give her a send off feast. Oldest still lingering here till the 18th. Appears briefly from room muttering about some AI code he is rewriting to do with image generation and Ray Tracing. I think he needs hosing down as he's starting to smell. Bloody computer science students.

Walked the dog this morning around the lake and nearly hit the deck a few times walking over snow dusted frozen puddles.
Site visit with new customer, then hit the gym on the way home.
