Slowish start and a lunchtime bike ride on the cards. Better start shifting that lard sooner rather than later.

Windy windy here too. Still grey. We had all of about 20 minutes slightly lighter than grey here yesterday. Thursday onwards looking frosty and bright. Looking forward to that.
Shopping, meh. Hopefully the hoards aren't over stacking their trolleys ahead of Hogmanay which is going to be very soggy affair anyway, so why bother.

2024 has been such a poor year weather wise, I was only ever 'in shape' intermittently.
2025 will be more of the same or heat waves/drought. You'll see.

Nice morning at the spa, managed to escape and run up Malvern hill. Now a pint stop on the way to some friends in Oxford for a night out

Lunch made by dutiful daughter. Off to Screwfix and Toolstation and Pharma and Sainsb's/Argos to get some bits.

Trip to doctors to get ball rolling. Long wait for ultrasound on shoulder and physio. Looks like rotator cuff but not a bad tear and surgery unlikely.

Teeth feeling much better so dragged the sausages around an 8km loop this morning.
Helping with my second job (unpaind obvs), then hopeful of a chill and watch the second half of A Man Called Otto.

Well job #1 tomorrow will be wash the PX. Some of the country lanes were more than a bit mucky. Actually both bikes as the Boardman is currently brown but meant to be white.

I read that first sentence and thought you'd suffered some sort of sexual injury.
But it seems that's not the case so hopefully you'll see in the new year in the appropriate manner.

No but I did have to attend hospital once for a sexually related injury. Nothing up my bottom I’m afraid. Wifey managed to put me in A&E after our first proper date. She’s still quite proud to this day.

after prolonged and vigorous exercise, my foreskin wouldn’t go back over the head no matter what and became alarmingly swollen (not in a good way) so a kindly male nurse in A&E basically had to invert the head of my penis back into the foreskin. Quite unpleasant. 😎
