The smallest Shimano Hydraulic shifters?

Hi, Im currently using 105 hydraulic shifters (mechanical) but I really cant 'like' them. They're very big & bulbous, ugly & awkward (Made noticeably worse because im using a 38cm bar)

Ive looked around for some smaller hoods, but pictures on the net can be deceiving.

My question to the forum is- Has anybody else felt the same & found one of the other models shifter to be noticeably smaller? ATM Di2 isnt an option.

    The shifters are different shapes and sizes ,Ultegra and dura ace are sleeker lighter etc as with all the components in different groupsets

    Which model shifters do you have, the earlier br505 weren't to bad. Then they started to get really bulbous. TBH there all as bad unless you go rim brakes, because of the hydraulic reservoir.

    I thought DA Di 12 SPD is the smallest, obviously comes with a matching price tag.....

    OP are you on 11 or 12 speed? If 12 speed you are very limited if Di2 is not an option, it is pretty much 105 or grx. GRX shifters are smaller but no idea if they would be compatible with your groupset.

    If you have 11 speed, you have more options. Something like Ultegra R8020 is much slimmer and can be picked up online at a hefty discount.

    Ok, so Ultra R0820 is worth a look! Just the info I was looking for, thank you. If I go down that route, I shall update here with comparison photos.
