Finding it difficult to find any stockists' and what there is' its very limited. is this Brexit or is just the way the bike industry is at the moment.

American so nothing to do with Brexit. More likely to be the state of the industry.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.Veronese68 wrote:PB is the most sensible person on here.1 -
In this case correct, as the UK distributor is Zyrofisher, but definitely not true overall. A lot of companies have a single EU importer/ distributor and post Brexit they either needed to set up a UK one as well or didn't bother continuing to serve our market. Affects way more than just cycling of course.

Windwave are the FSA dealers in the UK

OP - check the Windwave site, they have a fairly extensive range of FSA components available.
I think the major issue is that none of the big online UK retailers carry them which makes it look like they are virtually non-existent. It may be that smaller bike shops without a big online presence carry them, but hard to know for certain.

Wiggle/CRC used to be my go to for Ritchey WCS components, reckon I probably bought seatposts x 2, stems, and the beautiful Streem bars from for my 2 Scott CR1 SL builds.
Now of course they have gone down the toilet 🤬

The curse of Frasers Group! I haven't even looked at Wiggle since Ashley bought it. I know as a company Wiggle/CRC had gone into administration but it would have been good if someone else had rescued them. What they have done with Evans is a disaster.

I had a look once just to confirm to myself it is as bad as I thought it would be, and it was even worse than that.
Evans were poor to start with to be fair, and I speak as someone who bought several bikes from them, but fraser group will undoubtedly have taken that to new depths of mediocrity, both in terms of customer service, and getting shot of decent brands, and bringing in a load of p1ss poor quality tat.
Halfords had suggested they were in the running to rescue Wiggle/CRC but sadly that did not come to fruition.
Not a massive fan of Halfords/Tredz, but they are a reasonable retailer, and I think they would have done a decent job of keeping the name alive, and giving the public much more choice, decent brands, and customer service.

I still buy the odd bit from Tredz and they have always been decent IME. My local Evans was always okay, at least back then the staff were long term employees and had a bit of cycling knowledge. When they used to price match pre-Ashley they were good for picking up small bits like chains and cassettes. Now it is just an outlet store. Lots of budget bikes and random components and very few customers on the odd occasion I walk through there.
