Quick trip into town for top up supplies as the in-laws are landing tomorrow. Hopefully the mist has cleared by lunchtime as I fancy à ride. After that is undecided - hopefully nothing kicks off at work.

Attempting a two day fast starting….. now! After disgusting myself with a completely unnecessary 5 guys burger, chips and milkshake at 11pm on the way back from the theatre.
The tempest was ok, the first half was better with a Panto-esque performance from Matthew Horne, him off Gavin & Stacey. Sigourney was monologuing most of the second half which was perfectly fine but she lacked a bit of emotional range and didn’t captivate the audience as she ought and was probably one of the weakest performers to be fair. It’s her face that sells the tickets though, so she can sit in her arse and go through the motions if she wants.

Feel crap, I've got something in the back of my mouth that feels like a cobble stone. Keeping me awake etc but nothing compared to others troubles.
Anyway, happy reset everyone. All the mince pies are gone and the toffee vodka is nearly empty, 70.3 in the new year sights.
Supposedly off for a walk with the dogs today, a ride was mentioned but both of us are feeling under the weather. May kill it with port instead.

No heating this morning. I had bled a radiator yesterday, but did repressurise the system to about the marker. High tech system with all the controllers up in the loft. At least the legs are strong enough now to cope with that ascent. Oversensitive pressure sensor in boiler I reckon, did get it to self purge and reboot. So system back up and running, ASHP in full belt mode, but one controller still showing low pressure alert.... do I just press 'reset' again or just ignore. Message left with installers, if indeed they are office resident in this holiday season.

I too once fucked our heating up by bleeding the bathroom towel rail rad.
Apparently the pressure diaphragm in the boiler needed replacing and the air lock in the rad was doing the job of regulating the pressure.
Obviously got it fixed but learnt that a work around was to get air into the highest rad.

Non-pressurised system me. Thank fook. Just a water pump and a bleed system right next to the immersion tank for easy access.
Sorted Tricky's Lego conundrum. I think my instructions are clearer: highlighted parts and location. Dunno why Lego don't do the same.

Try cooking up the left over Turkey, frying it with onions and leaks. Use the left over veg to make stock for gravy and cook the Turkey mix under a puff pastry lid. Serve with mash.

We're doing another Christmas here today, lad braved the midlands yesterday to see her family then brought her back this morning. We're just a bit behind on time as a result. Currently sat on the couch with a beer waiting for more food. I reckon I'll be able to do a good impression of Mr Creosote by the time we're done 😬
Must confess I thought it was grey and dull here, but friend of Bally seems to be suffering grey² with extra grey.

Chemo went well except as usual had to wait an hour for the drugs to.be sent from the labs.
Also looks like its not the last as two more sessions booked. They did say 6 possibly 8 rounds. Looks like the possibly is actually 😥
Got back home to an appointment letter for another MRI Liver scan at the end of Jan so it sort of confirms the continuing chemo. Bit of a blow bit if that's the best course then so be it.
Expecting new Fridge Freezer tomorrow 7-9am.

Sorry to hear that PN, but as you say it's better to have more chemo now and be sure. Mine was also extended by a couple of months, but given I'm still here I don't regret it now, but it's certainly a blow when you hear the news. All I can say is that I'm with you in spirit and I suspect a few of the others would say the same. Even if they aren't dull blokes on the internet and are actually special forces on a mission in the Ukrainian rainforest.

Now back in a misty North Yorkshire after a very busy train journey back. Struggle to find anywhere to put the case and a delay in to York meant we missed the connecting train. Apparently today is the busiest day for distance train travel along with Maundy Thursday.

The way I see it is maybe more chemo now means less surgery later. I'll know when I see consultant on the 6th.
