Morning all! Frosty start, maybe some outdoor based exercise later. Yesterday neighbour and I scavenged wood from fallen silver birch in the churchyard and managed to blunt 3 chainsaws.....still got some good discs of firewood.

Fuckety fucking fuck-fuck. Had a call earlier from John Lewis saying that the main item in today's delivery i.e. the big Fridge Freezer is not on the truck due to some cock-up at the picking stage and they weren't sure when it would come. They have to wait for the other stuff to be delivered before they can highlight the missing item for redelivery? WTF? They know it's not on there. I know it's not on there. WTF can't they just do their job and mark it as missed.
Well pee'd off with this as we had to empty fridge and use neighbours freezer for stuff. She goes on holiday tomorrow so can't access it. We have a food delivery tomorrow night with lots of frozen stuff. I have meds in the fridge that need to be kept cool. Currently in cool box with ice pack, but that won't last long. Wife working tomorrow and next week up till 24th 3pm. I've got appointments left and right. Rang JL Customer Support and was very polite on the phone despite my demeanor and spoke to an assistant explaining my predicament and playing the "cancer card" as much as possible. Hey, I've got it, I'm gonna flaunt it! She has promised a delivery for tomorrow. We'll see if that happens...... I've held my breath long enough in the MRI this week...

That's a bit shit PN69, hopefully they will realise it needs sorting urgently and will get it done. People do play the cancer card needlessly at times, I heard it myself whilst I was being treated, but there are times you have to do it because to be a bit blunt, it fucking needs to get sorted. Hopefully the assistant realises that and being polite does help at those times. Hope it gets sorted quickly.
In the meantime, I've been at the pub with a mate, feeling good now, this may not continue in the morning. The last couple of pints may have been unnecessary 🥴
