Thursdays Complete And Utter Gibberish

Morning you slack sleepers curled up in warms beds adopting the fetal position.

Woke early. Surprise. Cuppa tea. Earphones. Podcasts. Actually the last 15 mins of Solaris! Finally!

Apparently I was shouting complete gibberish in my sleep quite loudly. Consisted of just random sounds, numbers and letters. Almost like a trained ape might do. So loud it kept waking me abruptly. My wife not so abruptly. Enough to get elbow shaped bruises to my ribs.

Anyway Nuff ramblings.

Snooze. Coffee. Snooze. Snooze.

Laters.

Sometimes. Maybe. Possibly.

    Morning Wasters,

Third trip into town this week and a free dinner is on the cards at some tapas joint in Soho. We'll see how pissed we can get our guests from the Kingdom of Far Far Away as they're a bunch of lightweights, in more ways than one 🙂 Have booked tomorrow morning off work as an insurance policy...

Day 9 of roofer banging and mess. The main body of the house should be complete today. We've hit lucky with the weather this week.

Today it's just a little less than extra brr. Just brr. Dark mornings. Only 9 days till the solstice.

Beans is off somewhere making the most of no monsters on the roof. Seems to have learnt the pattern. Yesterday, he snoozed on me for an hour sat on my chest whilst I snoozed. Funny little bloke.

    Ton of things to do.

    But first: coffee

  • Frost hanging around, postponed outside ride, will do the Zwift TT a few of us do each week, will definitely need a towel on the turbo 🥵.

Nice seeing a bit of sun again.

Morning all. P69 I CBA to post this morning. Always at work for 5am so I reckon I could have posted whilst having breakfast. WFW as usual, just a tad cool today not quite frosty but definitely foggy. Out later for a few beers.

This afternoon I shall be venturing back, driven by very helpful neighbour, to the hospital where I spent so many weeks for the first, of many, checkups. This one is for the diverted bowel stoma.... I trust you enjoy reading while eating 😉... I do wonder if this is me for all time or the tubing will get reconnected sometime in the future.

Otherwise a dull day outside not helped by me starting to prep the tax return, v dull indeed.

Busy day so far, need to call in the garden centre to swap the light MrsHD bought yesterday, wrong colour.

    Fit said lights later.

May also stop at the shop for dinner ingredients (and wine).

    Advocate of disc brakes.

I think our visitors are suitably pissed so I made my escape.

    Evening folks,

Long day, started with my first monthly management meeting at the new place, seemed to go well for me as everyone is happy with what I've done so far, just need to maintain the momentum.

Having fixed the car I drove back this afternoon, this included dropping one of the owners off in Beaconsfield. I did warn her there was a good chance of spending the evening with me on the hard shoulder of the M40. Thankfully that wasn't the case and I got home in time to turn around and go to the Christmas piss up for the previous company. Now several sheets to the wind and in danger of becoming big headed. Must admit I would miss some of them but didn't waste my time with idiots, even if they were being complimentary about me.

POETS day tomorrow with a meal out for female child's birthday, should be fun.
