Not tempted to pick up a mutt while you're there PN?

Up too early for my liking, soggy walk to the station, now on the train in to town. Office will be rammed today as it's the work Xmas party and there's free drink on offer. I suppose I should show my face 😇

Very brr and very dark. However, forecast is bright and crispy clear with weeks forecast: good ,so roof works may not be interrupted this week.
I think Beans has settled into the routine of noisy minsters on roof between 8.45am and 3ish,
Solar panels soon. Hopefully. Wahey.
* No alterations to the axial tilt yet. That sungod bloke is all talk and no action.

Morning Workers. Day off today using last of my holidays. Taking the ikkypoo OH out for dinner later. Neighbours builders are getting tiresome with their machines, be glad when it's done. Finish prezzie wrapping later. Cool and damp out. Suspect Stevo will be legless later, enjoy.

No mutt until we are done with rabbits. I hope we have rabbits for some time yet. They are so daft and funny looking I literally get many smiles and laughs out of them every day!
Mutt to come once in retirement.

Morning folks, sitting in the car at Oxford services. Top hose cried enough on the M40 it seems. Unfortunately there was no warning light telling me the car was getting warm, I only realised after checking the temperature gauge when I noticed it was getting cooler in the cabin. Hopefully no other damage done, now waiting for recovery 🙄
Anyone know a good motor factor?
Enjoy the piss up Stevo and try to remember you're not Gregggg Wallace

Doc called. More meds for ear pus-filled infection. They are actually quite worried about what is a smallish spot as it is near the cartilage and apparently if infection gets into that then they might have to cut part of it away!!! Yikes!!!
Finally got through to Nationwaide to sort out online banking from my 1977 account. The lady couldn't believe I had that account for so long.
Garage called. Wife's car ready. Collect at lunchtime.
Snooze yet to be snoozed. Will have to wait till afternoon as just had double espresso....

Good luck with the ear P69, more grief.
Re your Nationwide account from way back in the 70s, that means you are a 'special' member with rights should Nationwide ever decide to demutualise (unlikely I know) like several BS's did in the 80s/90s. I've got a Cashbuilder Book a/c, no idea where the old school paperwork thingie would be now, never added or withdrawn for decades now, and if I recall correctly from back in those demutualisation times as long as I leave more than £100 in that account then I'm "special'.
Sunny day again, solars are generating away, tumble dryer on for free, batteries charged up, I like.
This afternoon I may, if still feeling confident enough, actually drive my car to the local Coop to stock up on some bits. Legs should be fine now... tbd...

Funnily enough they didn't have enough details on me to set up online banking. Things like mobile phone number or email address. Funny that. From the 70's? Who wudda thunk that?
Now they have details I can try again tomorrow but I might have mistakenly activated post registration. Again. So my security number they posted has become void and I have to wait for a new postal security ID. Bah!
Steady on the legs @orraloon take it easy. Solar here today would be a joke. Dull as a Don McCullin sky. Probably about 0.0073W or 1/15 @ f4.5 800 ISO

Old Ford Smax, being the petrol turbo it's a bit tricky to get parts for. 3" split along the top hose, new one arrives tomorrow when I will find out if any other damage has been done. Fingers crossed 🤞

As long as oil was getting pumped through the bearings, shouldn't b a problem.

Only just got back on here, seems I got away with it, had to replace the top hose and a small plastic pipe. Drove it back today and it behaved itself in spite of heavy traffic getting round Oxford.
