WFH today, Mrs HD is away at a spa so the puppy needs some company.
Just about to head off for a walk with her, lunch is done, dinner is on the go, lunch tomorrow will be left overs from dinner. Supprising how much I can get done when I'm left to my own devices.
No riding, gym or running. Rest day :)

Waste of a lovely day. Hardware store early, then dental surgeon in town for appointment. Seems an almost two month wait till next "available" time to get actual work done. Gonna be horrifically expensive too. Yay.
Home to waste a few hours waiting for a tradie to show up. He did eventually, and did a fairly decent job at least. Had to make my own cuppa while waiting. Out for a pub meal which was a bit disappointing - not bad, but below their usual standard. Did all the organising, driving and even bought drinks.
Possibly the most disappointing birthday ever. 😐️

It was dark for most of the way this morning in on the bike and just as I thought 'great, it' getting light', it started raining on me. Hey ho, at least I avoid an absolute drenching as it was tanking down overnight.
Good day so far, got a minion promoted and bought his loyalty for a few years longer. And at the same time extended my tax tentacles further round the Globe. Bwa-ha-ha. Now enjoying a celebratory cottage pie.

Bloody miserable, grey and drizzling here. At least my ultra clean windscreen and new wipers were wonderful this morning on way to pharma. Satisfying.

Afternoon
As it wasn’t raining, frosty or blowing a Gale, I went for a bike ride. At times it was a bit like riding down farm tracks there was that much shit on the roads. However it did mean I could try out my new Fenwicks foam chain cleaner, which worked but looked a bit weird. Mrs W new fridge freezer arrived but they didn’t even take it off the van as it had the wrong door fittings, it needed sliders and had something else. She’s not a happy bunny now.

Great to see video of my parents talking. They died in 2001/2002 so very little actual video back then. Not like now where everything is on the phone.
Not sure who filmed it. I think it was the next door neighbour's kid who was doing film studies.

Evening folks,
Had a day of wfh after 3 days in the new to me orifice, all good so far and I've been trying to behave myself. It seems they have no understanding of what the word 'busy' means. But that may be more of a reflection on my previous existence.
