Morning all.
Well I was up at 4.10am but CBA to make a post. Instead settled down to listen to part 2 of Solaris. That sent me off fairly quickly
Waiting for my cuppa. Then up take make usual porridge.
Dossing at home. Might fit new outdoor cam to front of house weather and ladder height permitting.
Firsts. Pills pills pills pills pills and lashings of coffee.

Just recalled my dream from the earlier hours.
Michel Barnier was President of the UCI and the most hated man in cycling. Our local cycling club amongst others was arranging a summer jamboree where we would kidnap Michel B after a high profile Honorary Degree and then take him to our BBQ where he would be beheaded with a scimitar sword I was honing. I was also making an A2 banner but wasn't happy with the design as I only had green paint and a lollypop stick to use.
Very very weird but oh so vivid!!!
Snooze. Then coffee. Then post office to return faulty scart to composite cable.
Sometimes. Maybe. Possibly.

Morning
Well it’s not raining yet, so who knows what the day a head holds. I might see if I can some cheaper than full price climbing shoes somewhere. I used to be able to get the ones I where for £80 now it’s at least £120, it’s worse than bike tyres.

Yes, keep em coming.
The dream I remember most under IV morphine was this:
Every day they would unhook me from the purified opium (for a maximum of 30 mins) before the pain would start to kick in. They would put me in this plastic chair, shower me and then weigh me.
One morning, I said to the nurse 'will I make the weight?' and she said 'what for?' ' '...cos i'm fighting Lennox Lewis tonight...'.
I got hooked up, fell asleep and found myself entering Wembley arena. The crowd was chanting my name. I got in the ring, replete with silk robes and boxing gloves. When I stepped up to touch fists with Lennox, I thought: 'christ, this guy is huge'. The bell went and I am dancing around the ring trying my best to not get punched. I shouted to my corner 'what do I do, what do I do?'. The reply came loud and clear 'shoot him, just shoot him'. 'With what?' 'With the gun I put in your pocket'. Sure enough, there was a gun in my pocket and despite me having doubts I could hold and pull the trigger with boxing gloves on, I shot him .He stared at his wounded belly and then hit the canvas backwards. The crowd fell silent momentarily and then roared my name.
In a panic, 2 nurses came running into my room as I was shouting 'I shot Lennox Lewis' repeatedly. It was as vivid as real life.

Just finished a few calls with Japan and then Italy. The usual pre Xmas rush seems to be starting but they can all naff off from the 20th onwards as I'm having 2 weeks off. Time for another coffee then taking a half day to do a few jobs and get the Christmas tree with Mrs. 666.

I darent say anything about mine as they involve my first GF and not the OH. She'd kill me if she knew. Plus I'd get locked up as we were only 14, eek. Long long time ago.

Does she have a go at you for things that you do wrong in her dreams? That would be classic female logic 😊

Bloody steroids.
Did the laundry. Polished the windscreen on my car with glass cutter and rotary mop. Installed outside smart cam and small solar panel for front door observation. Tidied up DIY mess. Checked and pumped up tyres on 6 bikes (had them out to get to ladder).
Tried to snooze but no luck. Bah!

Won't make a bit of difference, never remembered a dream, as far as I know, I go to sleep, then I wake up, nothing happens in between.

She doesn't need to have a dream to moan at me.

Cool. Is it like a cutting compound or a rain-x type thing?
I'm fastidious about clean windscreens. My fave screen wash was VW concentrate but they changed the formula and its not as good now. Now just halfords -20 ready mix.

It's Rain x for long term and much much better: 6 months to a year! If you've already compounded, you can use it straight off the bat after using say window cleaner. It takes a little bit of drying then polish with an ever so slightly damp MF cloth. I actually just breathe on the cloth.
Test your compounding/cleaning skills by placing your hand in a plastic bag and seeing if your hand slides across the screen 😉
You can use the Glaco on lights, wing mirrors, side and rear glass. Your wipers will last longer and without judder (if you do it properly). If your light lenses are not faded, cracked or hazed over, T cut them first. If you use rubbing compound, you can compromise the clearcoat which you don't want to do. Alternatively, clay bar glass and lenses as preparatory.
