Dodged the hound alarm. On the train now, lucky I went for the early one as there are a few cancellations after that and it'd be rammed. A fair few meetings today, followed by beer and food in town.

@sungod brilliant - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sjzZh6-h9fM If you could go back in time for one day, what would that day be? Studio 54 New York, 1979 or Woodstock or D Day...

Morning
Dark and brooding. Well, clear over there and the other way, dark. I guess the dark is heading this way but tomorrow and Thursday sunny and crisp apparently. Well that's what Lizzie said and she's gorgeous.
Go to town. Deposit council tax refund(?!). I'll find out if my branch still exists.
Dehydration TLW? Loads of screen time? CO poisoning at motel?

Morning
Temps have dropped again here. Not sure what to do today feeling a bit broken for some reason. Might need more coffee.

Took a few tumbles running on Saturday 🙄

Dry and clear for next 3 days, apparantly, might get the bike out.

if it was for music, probably december 72 for the space ritual
nippy ride, awful traffic, but at least the wind has died down, making for a scenic sunrise over the pond
my bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny1 -
Morning all. WFW as usual. Winter is definitely back, even the car shouted be careful of icy roads. Run later.
Too many bikes according to Mrs O.0 -
Weird weather here, a sea fog that hung about much of the day. Giant cruise ships in port, so city was busier than usual.
Bought a few new doors to replace the entrance ones here, now just gotta pick some hardware and figure out installation requirements. Like most stuff in this house, the existing ones aren't quite done properly, so there's a bit of manipulation required to make new ones work.
@tlw1 get checked. Headaches are bad. I spent an hour today in getting scanned for similar issues. Results on Friday.
Stumped up a load of cash for replacement solar panels array and HW systems, to be done in a few weeks time.

Afternoon.
Visit to work to catch up with boss and fellow workers. Great to see some familiar faces and friends. They are all missing me which is nice.
It's good to feel good. Probably feel shite after tomorrow's chemo.
Sometimes. Maybe. Possibly.

So a few bangs to the head didn't sort you then?

Afternoon folks,
Back in the orifice, only a couple more days in here. So I guess I have found the way outta here, don't think it was a priest that told me.
Still training my replacement, she should be good, at least she won't get bombarded with stupid questions about parts from people that are too lazy or stupid to look things up for themselves. I do feel bad for the few with any technical knowledge that are left.
Weather is irritating, dry and sunny today as I had to take the car in to have a CV gaiter fitted, rain forecast for the wobble in tomorrow and then dry again Thursday for when I will have to drive in again.
Hope the chemo goes well PN69, or as well as it can and you get over this round smoothly. Where's 'loon, hope his recovery is going well, has he got an emergency alarm like old people get in case of problems?

Took the dog for a walk, forraged a second truck load of logs from the local park but left some as they're just too big to handle.
Busy sort of admin type day in the office.

New 8TB HDD installed in the 'beast' computer. Found that digitising a box load of MiniDV video cassettes ate up my drive space quickly! Quick format and ready to copy the lot over. £120 for 8TB wasn't bad at all. In my box of bits I have some old IDE drives of 80MB that cost more than twice this back in 1996

No ride as the Met Office screwed up and it rained, so food shop and then removing old sealand from shower cubicle to reseal without the black mould. Found a couple of very hairline cracks on the upper edge of the ( acrylic) tray, should I look to get it replaced?
0 -
Wait until the crack gets bigger!

I think that's my plan, it's barely visible and not in a bit that sits under water when in use.
