Morning this fine coolish morning. Off to meet some like minded graveltonians for a local ride with a couple of trail centres thrown in. Assuming any turn up. Maybe getting damp later. Hope Photonic finally got some shuteye.

    Wotcha!

Murky again. However, there is wind which means it may be blowing the grey away. Cold front after that.

Push the DW's out of the door and it's roller action methinks. CX later.

    First: coffee.

Slept for England after getting up at 4.15am for the previous 3 mornings. Normal service is now resumed.

Dog walk shortly then getting dragged off to a garden centre some way away by Mrs. 666 who needs some particular types of plants for the latest phase of the garden project. They're going to be planted near the boundary with the moany old bag so hope she appreciates our efforts.

    May watch football later.

After a couple of months of neglect, fired up the TT this morning to give it a run. Still a small coolant leak to address, so it won't be going far for a while. Parts are NLA. Grr.

Left car out of shed so we could run the mower in over the pit. Blades changed, cutting deck cleaned up, drive spindles and steering knuckles greased, oil and filter changed, ready for the next round of the paddock.

Dinner out up the road a bit for a change.

Finally got about 1.5 hours sleep broken into 10 minute chunks.

Up very early. Sainsbury's shop done. Local shops done. Cuppa tea and a nap before daughter pops back from uni for a night. That means backgammon and espresso all day. Feast and tv tonight. If I can keep eyes open.

A missed night’s sleep would have been the perfect opportunity to watch the Tyson farce.

    Afternoon

A bit of a slow start before picking up second best bike from shop, then did some climbing. Not sure whether to go on tomorrow’s group ride as it looks like winter bike weather but it hasn’t got a lower enough gear for the planned route. Might have do a solo ride if it’s frost free.

Well I survived the gravel ride, which I actually enjoyed for a change. Was way better than the Tyson debacle, all I'll say is he was obviously well paid to act like an old has-been, he's way better than that. Hopefully a rematch with proper gloves and no being paid to throw it.
