Just finished the last of the early morning calls with the Kingdom of Far Far Away and glad of it. Might take some time out this afternoon for a quick blast on the bike to clear the cobwebs, as next week looks a bit shyte weather-wise. Then cider o'clock later if I can stay awake.

Rather misty here as well as only 4 degrees. I will shortly attempting to get the velux type window in the attic to rotate, the gentleman at the company said you might need to hang from the catch to get it to move. This is if it hasn’t been done for sometime which we suspect might be 10 years. Might need to rig some slings on it and stand in them. Later might be a ride if I survive the window opening and the mist clear.

No possibility of putting some de-blocker in the hinge area and leaving it for a day or two?
Also, revitalise the rubber seal when you do get it to shift. Autoglym Vinyl and rubber care for ease of use (availability locally). There are other brands.

The company recommended WD 40 which I know is not a releasing agent. However I rigged some slings up and swung on it but alas no movement. Apparently there is another way but the chap on phone said if you do this and it doesn’t work you end up with the window stuck open so he wouldn’t tell us how to do it. So its a call out.

The sun didn’t come out on my ride and it felt much colder than 7 to 9 degrees the weather station was saying. I was thinking we could sit out with dram and try the new garden furniture but I think my down suit is still in a box somewhere.

Another day in the orifice, feels like it's been a long week. Pleasant enough wobble, but rather fresh to say the least. Colder riding home than it was on the way in. Take away pizza from the pub so managed a swift one while I waited.

Despite Pinno apparent cosmopolitan back ground, he’s clearly lowland Scotland in his food choices. Anything brown is either gravy, brown sauce or melted deep fried mars bar.😉
