Wednesday With The Wet Wipe of Woe

Morning chaps.

Still dark but looks dull and grey.

3rd round of chemo. 5 hours at hospital beckons. Losing more games of chess to the wife probably.

Drugs. More drugs and more drugs. Maybe coffee. Snooze.

Laters.

Sometimes. Maybe. Possibly.

    Good luck P69. Have fun.

Misty, murky, foggy, dreary, slightly spooky morning. Me likes.

It's mild though. Charge up batteries for cycle lights* methinks.

    Coffee...

    Laters

*Rear took a flyer and come apart the other day due to pothole. It survived!

Did @sungod drink too much bubbly, fall asleep in the scorchio and is now a Sultana/dried tomato? Mad dog's an Englishman....

  • Gloomy and the weather is dull too. Coffee chores and shaking head over US election result kind of day.

    Morning Peeps,

Up too early for the first of 2 days in the office, was a bit murky on the way in so dressed up like a Christmas tree. Cake Stop appears to be in mourning for some reason.

Was hoping my wet wipe would wipe some of that orange shit away. Morons.

    Morning folks,

Strange start to the day, had to go to the old dear's to phone the bank as she was instructed when she went into the branch to try and arrange an appointment, this was repeated to me on the phone yesterday when I rang to confirm. Got to hers and rang the bank, finally got through to the department we needed and were told we had to go into the branch. I was somewhat irritated by this, now shirking from home before taking the old dear to the bank later. What a mucking fess.

Hope all goes well with the chemo PN69, I was reminded of the day about 3 weeks into mine when the work wind up merchant asked when my hair would fall out. He looked rather distressed when I reached up to my head and pulled out a large handful and said "about now", made me laugh at least. Went home that evening and took the lot off.

    Afternoon

Gloomy here too. Attempted to put up some new but antique looking brass coat hooks Mrs W had bought, however the screws supplied with them seemed to made of cheese. I’ve never sheared wood screws before putting them in by hand and I had even drilled pilot holes. Gave up and had a session on the board. Later is supper club at the pub in the next village.

Chemo went well. In and out in 5.5hrs total. Now home with a big mug of tea, a biscuit and a headache. Fingers quite tingly this time, more than last. Really hurts to touch bare metal or anything cold. I'll just keep my hands down the front of my Adidas trackies like a black gangsta innit.
