Steroids - aren't they lovely. I was on 750mg IV Methyl prednisolone October '93. They gave me 2 Phenergan and 2 Temazepam to sleep/switch off. It did the job but only for 3 hours. Dietician (the silly cow) swore I was sneaking Mars bars. Luckily they didn't put me on insulin but I did have a sugar free diet. Sent home on 125mg oral dose and I was cooking at 3am. Totally manic. At the newsagent at 6am to pick up the papers including the Racing Post. so I could do the crossword. Scored heavily on the horses. I can list the winners even now - Urban Sea/White muzzle duel forecast at the Prix d'larc de triomphe. Urban sea was 66-1, Aahsaylad and Risotto, Cesarevich stakes, another DF. Fun times.

Anyhoo, made it back from Dundee with an M5 BMW. Beans wanted a walk at twilight upon my return - in the muddy swamp lands and then later we had multiple fights. Happy days.

Slept well after yesterday communt on the bike and grape based recovery drinks. Currently listening to an advisors webinar where they are droning on about yesterdays budget, just to check I haven't missed anything. Managing to do a bit of work in the background, as plenty to do.

There. No one is going to mess with me 'cos I look like a drug dealer. I've already started the process of de drugdealerisation by removing the smoked headlight/rear light film and i've ordered new clear side repeaters. It was actually owned by a mechanic. The tan leather interior has suffered so it's on the to do list and the engine bay was filthy but he did spend big on it and done a whole load of jobs that I was not looking forward to.

Another busy day of working, and insisting I really am leaving with the beginning of desk clearing as I was in the motor. I've got about 10 years of invoices for bike stuff that's been delivered to the office, best not take that lot home or I could be in trouble 😂

My mechanic had one of these in the yard the other day, a customer car in for refresh. The transmission update alone cost 16 grand, never mind rod bearings and VANOS.
