Etape Loch Ness 2025
Decided to do this next year, as it isn't a route I would choose to do without the road being closed!
Thought I would take the (small) motorhome for overnight accommodation and changing. Anyone know if there are any handy overnight parking spots around Inverness as one of the caravan parks is already full that night!

Went for a long weekend up there last year and there is a large car park at the swimming pool at the west end of town. Don't know if overnight parking is permitted though.

They tend to set up the day before as it's an early start. Bound to be a lay by or truck park to lay up in.
Too many bikes according to Mrs O.1 -
There's a small lay by just as you get to Bucht Park about 400 yards from the start ,you need to be there the afternoon before for it getting closed off but no issues leaving when you're done .Its close to Pier Ness Viewpoint .
My mate and his dad park there every year in their camper
