In other news: Beans had his wormer. You'll be pleased to know. However, he is not talking to me anymore because i'm a furless b*****d. Of course he's dead right but I actually miss the trying to chew a limb off game.

Had a good little ride round Kentshire yesterday in shockingly good weather - bike needs another clean though. Fun was had yesterday evening as we spotted a tick near junior hound's left eye, cue much fun trying to remove it from a very reluctant patient with the 'tick twister'. Got there in the end.

Day of house chores, been neglecting those a bit lately. Dreariest day ever, but the place does look a lot better. Visitors for a couple hours mid afternoon at least broke up the monotony..

General reaction was surprise, followed by being upset then saying it was good for me. Immediate boss was quite upset, but not surprised and knew better than ask me to stay. He's had an email from the new overlord asking what can be done to make me stay.
Of course, probably at least 3 sets of drinks
