Morning peeps. Busy wkend for me for a change. Fetching steel security door. Made it at work for new tool store for the lads tools and fitting over the wkend. To be timber clad so looks inkeeping with everything else. Parkrun this morning and circus later plus 10k run tomorrow. Service MTB ready for Degla next wkend. Manflu thing has finally done one, but left me with an annoying chesty cough at times. Have a good wkend all.

Better wash the hike for tomorrow's ride as its still a bit mucky from the last one. Out with the hounds in a bit then some jobs and weights. Also an extra hour of sleep tonight as a small bonus.

Fine spring day. Set fire to a pile of stuff in the paddock to celebrate.
New (well, used) bike day. Picked up an old CAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD 8 in pretty reasonable condition for not much money, to probably replace the old Cervelo that's been flogged nearly to bits on the turbo. Will see what the drivetrain is like tomorrow after a proper cleanup - it's a bit grubby and neglected. Was surprised to see it has 10 speed 105 shifters and mechs at least, which was a bonus. Downside is a BB30 crank... which means none of my good spares will fit.

Evening folks,
Traditional slow start was followed by some pottering, had to fettle the green bike as the NDS crank was loose. Turned out it wasn't loose but the bearing was FUBAR. Luckily I keep a spare so that's sorted. Now relaxing for the evening
