Alan key size for Shimano freehub with 12mm thru axle

Good morning all

this question is for a gravel wheel, but the axle size is probably common for mtb’s as well.

i have a shimano RX570 rear wheel with 12mm thru axle. The hub axle seems to be around 16.2mm at the widest part.

given the cost of a hex tool, I would like to establish with some certainty, what size Allan key I need to remove the freshub body.

could it be 15mm or even more?
