Bird Aeris 9 - rear triangle failures?

Considering an Aeris 9 as next bike. Seems to fit my 'sensible spec' requirements, near enough I can demo ride, seem like good chaps on the phone, decent pricing.

My only concern is anecdotal reports of broken rear triangles. I'm aware the plural of anecdote isn't evidence, but its difficult to come by info as Bird are a pretty small operation and I imagine as a result have a pretty small ridership.

Any experience of Aeris 9 ownership here? preferably the current version of the frame, which I believe is the 6th iteration.
