Freehub Help

Hi

I am looking for some help with converting wheels from one of my bikes to the other and vice versa

1st Bike is a BMC Roadmachine with SRAM Components and a set of fast forward wheels

2nd bike is a Bianchi Oltre XR3 with Shimano Ultegra

I want the FFWD wheels to be on the Bianchi and the Bianchi wheels on the BMC

Which free hub would I need to put the FFWD on the Bianchi and the Shimano wheels on the BMC?

Thanks

Possibly you can get a 12 speed HG cassette for the Shimano wheel, but the smallest cog would be an 11. And similarly an 11 speed XD cassette for the SRAM wheel. That's a Google search for you.

  • You need to remove the freehubs to see what's inside the wheelhub to know what freehubs are compatible to get the correct ones ,it's possible they might swap over if the hub internals and axles are the same but unlikely

    They won't be cross compatible.
