    Where is everybody?

    Wotcha!

Another gorgeous morning. Unfortunately, Classica Vuelta e Rhins stage 7 is cancelled today as the lawns have suffered neglect from all this cycling.

Much more coffee is needed to get motivated by gardening activities.

what happened to stage 6? Cancelled due to cat blockade, demanding more attention?

Things that intrigue? Radio on, hear Sara Cox state inconsequentially that it is 45 (forty five!) years since 'Message in a Bottle' by The Police was released. Jings. Am I getting old?

More sunshiiinne, more hard landscaping messy stuff to do. So get off here and get on with it...

My sister played that and Walking on the moon repeatedly (was it on the B side?) during a trip to lake Magadi which is a salt lake and it was like walking on the moon. This is the lake in the rainy season, otherwise far more arid and bright and dusty and caustic:

Erm... did you read the bit about having to cut grass? It's a 3hr job today and being a Saturday, I had to help the DW's out of bed and out the door after/feeding/watering/hair brushing/negotiation and arbitration services etcetera first thing which all renders a decent pedal impossible.

Tomorrow, the forecast is good again.

Iโ€™m sure yesterday was stage 5 and today is stage 7. If my primary school maths is correct and I think it is ๐Ÿค“ you canโ€™t cancel stage 7 as is doesnโ€™t yet exist. Ipso facto, Seany is correct, Pinno is wrong ๐Ÿ˜Ž

    Afternoon Wasters,

Already been out to get petrol, supplies and collect my new suit from the tailors. Spot of lunch then it looks dry enough to head out for a ride.

    Afternoon folks,

Slowish start was had. This was followed by a few chores in anticipation of return of the EPO next week. I'm out tomorrow and off to Frankfurt Monday morning so should get my packing done I suppose. Off to the old dear's first.

Grey and moist out there ๐Ÿ™„

    Evening

A bit of a slow day, watched it rain, did a bit of packing and put my Mountainbike up for sale. Had to guess at its value so it could be a case of no interest or lots of interest I do suspect the former though.

    Impressive lake. Prob FlamingoLand?

Walking on the Moon was their next single released. Ten Years After (geddit?) that small step for (a) man.

Another messy dusty hard landscaping day, getting there. Time for a hot soak, several coldies already consumed.

No. Flamingo land was Lake Naivasha but the population has dwindled right down 'cos they are using the water to irrigate huge flower farms for export to Europe (look at the label on your nest Lidl flower purchase and have a think).

Them, yellow beer and pork based foods. Also a fookin' great big exhibition centre for the Automechanika show, lots of suppliers and manufacturers. It will be a long and boring week no doubt. Hopefully fruitful.
