    Overcast but dry, OH off for a cycle with pals, have to decode whether to get out for a solo ride.

    Very windy here and a deluge forecast so it does look like I will be riding. Got some furniture to move and I might start taking down the climbing wall.

    Morning (just). On the train back feeling a bit fuzzy after a good night out. Undertones were spot on even without Feargal - new lead singer nailed it. We managed to have a chat with the bass player Mickey Bradley who was wandering round the floor as people were clearing out, good bloke.

    Traditional slow start was enjoyed, just finished my coffee, now mustering energy to do something constructive. Need to go and see the old dear later.

    Managed a reasonable run and then at the hospice and just managed to wake the MIL up by cheering when Liverpool scored a 2nd goal.

    Couple of jobs done and got out after lunchtime rain , a bit of smirr but not cold. Seeming headwind all the way round a circuit though!

    Well i managed most of what I intended and extra. Expensive day OH wanted new setees so new ones ordered, I wanted new running trainers so got those. Got home to be told tumble dryer had died, quick inspection confirmed it was dead so more expense and new one ordered. Back to work tomorrow to pay for this lot.
