    Where you going vincesummersrockshox?

Wet here. Very wet. Gopping. Need to send this rain to Athens.

Sore hands after yesterdays shenanigans with Pizza oven bricks lining the cassette woodburner. Lots of sharp edges + wet hands = TLW feet.

More coffee methinks before Zoom call meeting thingy wotsit. They're such fun.

    Morning

Feel a bit sore from yesterdays rehab weights. I think today will swopping wheels and brake blocks on bike, I might even give it a bit of clean and possibly ride it. Later is a physio session.

Knackered this morning after gym and a run yesterday so as is standard on a rest day I'll go for a swim.

Weather is also iffy around these parts.

    Advocate of disc brakes.

Roadworks between J22 and 29 when we went through. 50mph limit plus all the Manchester M62 traffic convergence = slow going.. I used to work in Gloucester. I always always try to leave very early or even go overnight when heading south.

Decent night at the hotel, now off to visit the MIL and shout at the ineffective ward manager (been in for 6 weeks and half of that she is absolutely moving to a hospital close to home).

unsure what later will bring, but more chance of the pub than a run

Hot ride home last night plus cold cider on arrival = decent sleep. Now WFH and just about caught up with the crap at work from when I was off last week. Will do a few weights later on then chill.

@pinno gonna 'kin stop sending this 'kin rain eastwards! Another wet grey windy morning means the ever growing stack of outdoor things-to-do keeps ever growing.

Do some admin. Do some forward planning for a holiday break in a few weeks. And do some of the boring indoor tasks list. Life eh.

  • We've been down a few times in the last couple of years , the long sections of roadworks have been going for ages!

    Afternoon folks,

Another delightful day of orifice based stupidity, managed not to swear at someone just now, but it was a very close run thing. I thought repeating the words "I'll take a look when I've finished my lunch" 3 times whilst eating a sandwich would have made it quite clear that I was eating my lunch. Unfortunately the idiot stood in front of me took this as an invitation to carry on asking questions. I never thought I was being too polite to people before now, maybe I need to be more blunt.

One of my suppliers is going to Beautiful Days, say hi if you see him Mr Summers.

Just looked into the answer for the stupid question, it was immediately apparent as soon as I looked. Surely I don't have to think for other people.

  • Actually it wasn't too bad today, a beer in the garden in 25c by 1630 in Gloucester!
