Cannondale Synapse 2014 BB Type?
Hi all,
My son has the above bike. It's around that era - black and green frame etc. It has a Sora groupset with FSA chainrings. The BB is making a nasty sound. Looking at replacing it. It seems to be a square taper cartridge. Anyone know if the FSA JIS Square Taper and the SHIMANO BB-UN300 Square Taper are the same standards?
I'll need to whip it out to check spindle length but I'm guessing its 115mm as standard?

What crank is it ,the 2014 Synapse came with the SISL1l2 crank which would make it a 30mm spindle with a PF30a frame shell to use BB30/PF30 or similar BB ,a pic of your crank would help

Yup. Its a square taper FSA 68mm shell with 103mm spindle length. Stripped down and Rough to twiddle.
Found exact model on line for £19
Hopefully sorted early next week.
