    Morning

Well so far it’s grim here and looking it’s like staying that way all day. So having a coffee and watching some obscure Spanish bike race before I think of something to do.

Morning folks. What's with the British summer, only just stopped raining. Usual boring stuff . Hopefully run later.

Too many bikes according to Mrs O.

Nah, the Tories flogged off the sunshine on some mates' contracts before Sunk called the election.

Grey, again. Stuff to do on The Project. So get on with it then...

At least the toms have started cropping, nom.

Probably more interesting than watching 1 man dominate half the top end of the sport.

And why didn't Binny G get penalised for that intermediate sprint with Micheal Woods? Jasper P did not stray off his line by nearly as much.

Carpet cleaning at (up for sale soon) rental project. Meh. Local guy who used to do it doesn't do it anymore.

The disgusting, filthy festering rat Darren James McLellan of 12 Church Place, Peterhead AB46 6LR suffered a heart attack - whilst in jail. Still alive unfortunately. Although he owns his M3 BMW so hopefully that will be repossessed soon and I can get paid.

...and whilst we are on the subject of rats; 1" to the right and it would have been a different scenario.

Dull here, managed a vrey exhausting gym session before work and maybe riding later.

Alternative is to go and watch Despicable Me 4 with the kids.

    Morning Folks,

Busy morning, just coming up for air and a spot of food to see me through till lunchtime. Tempted to have a pedal after work if the rain stays away.

    Afternoon folks,

Grey, but not too wet as yet. Got absolutely soaked last night, went to Shepperton to see someone and as it was clear as I left work I didn't take my overshoes. Left matey's house in light rain that turned torrential very quickly. Got to Walton Bridge and took the tow path from there. What's normally a nice ride was pretty grim, got home wetter than an otter's pocket. Drove in today as the EPO wanted me to get some stuff and my shoes were still wet. Asked the EPO to send me a list before I went to lunch and she's ordered online for it to be delivered tomorrow 🙄

This guarantees it will not be raining at 5.30 around these parts.

Out for beer and curry tonight.

Slowly progressing on the exterior remedial works, but progress is... something.

Went over to Doonhamertoon to collect further materials plus have finally got round to replacing the chainsaw garb which got nicked by, and I'm showing proper cultural respect here, those thieving pikey bastards couple years back. Hardly used the big saw at all since, however there is some proper tree felling and chopping upcoming. Better safe(r) than oh dear.

Time to catch up on the (last 5? 2? km) of the TdF stage.

Visit from P fairy on the way to work this morning, couldn’t be arsed to go to work by the time I fixed it so booked a day off to scratch my hat fetish. Found a rather jaunty cap at this establishment near the British museum https://thomasfarthing.co.uk/ @sungod might be worth a peruse.

Home to cook pork belly, washed down with some rather nice cider. Felling decidedly sleepy 😴

I was wondering where you’d been hiding but given those hats 🎩 you probably been in a cave somewhere.🤣🤣🤣

I'm a Trilby sort of guy.

During chemo, I accumulated and was given oh so many hats. I still have a genuine Normandie Beret given to me by an ex at the time.

I thought about getting a hat but decided that I'm not bald enough yet.

I also gained a chemo hat collection. Problem with a lot of hats is that I found it was the back of my head that got cold rather than the top, meant a lot of hats didn't really help that much.

Thankfully a decent covering of hair has solved that problem.
