Bit of a 'too early for my liking' start after the twin celebrations of silver wedding anniversary and the England game. On the train into town, but at least today is my Friday and there are some after work beers on the cards this evening 😎

    Yes please...

In the meantime I'm trying to arrange some impromptu Teams calls with Dutch colleagues 😇

Despite a few G&Ts last night we managed a 5.45am gym alarm call, got a new program to battle through this tendonitis and sweated buckets (of Gordons...)

Kids are at ours tonight apparently so I might go for a run.

    Morning

Tried to use my bank card first thing only for it to be declined. Contacted the bank and it would seem that it was compromised so it had been cancelled. So after that I need to chill abit, however I need to clean the bathroom and use the turbo at some point. Later is follow up with shoulder surgeon and hopefully I can stop wearing this bloody sling.

It’s often dry at Tremadog. You could nip up Vector or take the kids up One step in the clouds.

    Morning folks,

Another busy day in the orifice, for once I'm less hungover than most others on a Thursday 😂

Pleasant wobble in with quite a bright light in a blue sky, not exactly warm though. Hopefully better this evening.

I understood the Welsh Piña, have a taff colleague that can't say here, year or ear. He regularly gets ear infections and when he goes to the quack is asked if he brought a sample 🤣 So he has to point at his ear whilst repeating himself

Had fun on a call this morning telling a Welsh colleague of the 'ABE' persuasion that having wasted money on Swiss and Dutch flags, he'll now have to buy a Spanish one and keep his fingers crossed 😊

Went to Barmouth and there was a food festival. Place was heaving and it was raining so finding a seat in a place where you could get served in less than an hour was impossible. Came away. Wandered along the beach in drizzle for a bit.

Another day on The Reserve non-gender-specific-handling of materials from an old stone dyke aka wall for youz saft southern jessies, dismantling the old wall, loading onto barrows, onto trailers and tractor buckets, getting ready for a wall building weekend event which plans to create a new visitor seating viewpoint. 'kin knacked now, hot soak coming up.

Non gender specific handling? Lucy on the team is rel small physically, tough as, moving lots of big heavy stone herself and doing so without wearing gloves like wot us blokes were. Dinnae mess wi' her 😊

Consult seen who showed me some gruesome videos of my shoulder being operated on. He was extremely pleased with recovery progress, he felt my range of movement and strength were what he would expect beyond week ten, rather than week seven. So I’m discharged with words of caution to go steady.

A mate of mine tore his recently, randomly undoing a bolt on a chop saw blade. 8 weeks of total immobilisation following surgery that was deemed partially successful at best.
