Brakes for 2010 Rockhopper SL
I have a 2010 Rockhopper SL hard tail. It hasn't been used for over 5 years and very little for the 5 before. It works great!
Alas, the right brake lever popped out of the reservoir (Tektro Auriga Pro) and I'm pretty sure a part has fallen off as it won't stay in there. Anyone know if this is repairable?
If not, which brake setup should I get for what I know is quite an old bike but which is still working fine for me? Shimano SLX? Deore? Something else? I mostly want to do cross country and road but when I lose some weight I will do some not-too-extreme single track.

Personally I'd go with Shimano Deore and I'd probably replace the calipers as well as I'd be concerned they would stick or start leaking after all these yrs.

Have seen a couple of brakes in sales at a website.
Option 1 - Shimano XT for £199: seems like amazing value for money, is this way too much to spend on such an old bike?
Option 2: Tektro Gemini 585: £59 and even comes with new rotors - seems like amazing value!
Which would you go for?

Don't have any experience of the Tektro but no need to spend £190 on Shimano XT.
You can get Shimano Deore set for £130 - https://www.merlincycles.com/shimano-deore-m6100-m6120-front-and-rear-disc-brake-set-213641.html?utm_campaign=googlebase-GB&utm_source=googlebase&utm_medium=shopping&utm_term=MTB+Disc+Brakes&ucpo=131729&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAAD_kj58d5geVgSz8uVTRneTGxewQW&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIgqT__bKXhwMVDYpQBh06BQctEAQYASABEgLerPD_BwE
