2012 Nukeproof Mega Custom Build

2012 Nukeproof Mega, custom built from the frame up with great parts.

Despite its age it's an amazing bike that pedals really well up hill and descends like a beast! It was designed for the Mega Avalanche after all!

It's always been stored inside and well looked after, although there are obviously a few scuffs and scrapes.

The pivot bearings were changed a few years ago and the bike has barely been used since. The shock works flawlessly too. Headset and BB are smooth and the hubs spin nicely.

I got a gravel bike in 2018 and this must have only been used around 5 or 6 times since, as such it time to find it a new home.

As noted above, it's in generally great condition but there are some bits that need a bit of TLC:

-Dropper post needs serviced. Seals are good but it has a few mm of sag. Still goes up and down.

-Tiny 2-3mm ding in downtube. Filled and smoothed with epoxy putty (covered by decal).

-Rear brake needs bled but still works.

-Lower stem steerer bolt has a rounded head (still tight so bike is 100% rideable).

-Forks are due a lower service but are still fully functional and super plush. All adjustments work as they should and the stanchions are in excellent condition too.

Other parts not fitted but included:

-Fizik Gobi XM Wing Flex Saddle.

-Schwalbe Magic Mary 26 x 2.35 Evo TLE 3 (used but lots of life left).

-New in box SRAM 10spd chain.

-New in box Rockbros flat pedals

-SDG Lock On Grips (used but still good).

-New UberBike finned brake pads for rear (already fitted to front).

-New Hub Doctor bearings for rear hub.

-Various Mavic hub adapters.

-Some Stan's tubeless sealant.

Also, if I can find these I'll throw them in too:

-Lyrik fork decals

-Reverb Bleed Kit

Looking for £400, which I think fairly reflects its age and the fact it needs a few things done to return it to its former glory.

Collection only from Aberdeen City centre.
