Sub £1k sub 1500g 29” wheelset options

Hi all. I am on the hunt for a set of wheels for my Top Fuel for XC/trail use. I’d like to go with a fairly wide (28-30mm) carbon rim and ideally sub 1500g.
2 options I have found are Hunts Proven XC at £800 and Blueflows XC SL at £900. Both hit the weight requirements.
Does anyone have opinions on one vs the other and also any other options?

Look at the Chinese direct to consumer brands. I've used Nextie and Light Bicycle, Farsports are also viewed favourably. You'll get a lot more for your money.

Interesting. I built a set up on the Nextie website for around £1k and sub 1300g’s… but I am unsure about all the import hassle and how much more that will cost…
