Morning. Bright 🌞 Blue Sky's but nippy. Going through my bike stuff ready for the holiday drive later. Kicking OH and young Oxo out to work till lunch so I can pack the car in peace and chill out. Delivery man was 2hrs late yesterday so nobody there to sign for it. 😖.

Too many bikes according to Mrs O.

Early finish today, make dinner and hot tub.

was supposed to take one of the kids fishing but the weather is a bit grim later on.

    Cool and breezy again. Meh.

Where are you going Oxo? We've been domestic for some 5 years now.

Not much on today bar watching it rain and reading wiring diagrams.

    First; coffee.

Just Norfolk coast, but NOT the usual tourist hot-spots. Prefer quieter places to branch out from. Probably the most popular place we'll go is Wells next the Sea. Don't do kiss me quick hats and pixxhead seaside type stuff. Good look with the wiring diagrams.

    nippybright as some say.

Puncture fixed last night., Tyre was getting a bit long in the tooth so put a new one on. In the tyre store I found a High5 gift pack full of energy gels that went out of date in 2021, a victim of covid lockdowns. On the plus side there was a brand new High5 water bottle in there which is good timing as my current bike bottle has split.

Royals are in town, hi vis everywhere.

Might make up the numbers at the local TT later if the sun comes out.

Sunny with showers again, planning bike ride in NZ in spring, decide whether bike or hill walk this afternoon , depends on wind

Also avoiding going in to Edinburgh this weekend as it is gripped by Swift fever.

Back ome now, cooler and slightly grey

Had a little lie-in as no work today. I need to do a little food shopping then I think I’ll get the trail bike out and head out down some dry looking Lincolnshire tracks n trails. Bound to be a pub at the end of one of them ;)

Catch up with the IOM TT later

Cor I'm having a job trying to get this to post...

    Morning

Grey and cold here. It was freezing at the D day bonfire last night, I had to put heating on to get warm when we got back, flaming June it’s not. I think today will be the turbo at some point but I’m not sure what else the day holds.

always intrigued me that 'flaming june' as a phrase came from the painting, rather than an olde poem about weather

I had a printer mate who said he would get around to printing the diagrams off a pdf document onto A3 instead of having to go over the next page or the next page tracing the route (in any direction). Alas, he lost that job and the current one doesn't do A3.

Done too much work the last few days. Sore. Grumpy. But at least the jobs are ticked off the list.

12C at midday, drizzle and strong breeze. Wow, summer is luvverly. Did manage to get started on the hedge trimming in t'afternoon though. The privet and hawthorns are liking this year, a lot, given the growth on show. Avoiding the nesting sparrows etc. Bleep, I've got lots to do... got 4 days remaining before I'm offsite for a week or so. 🤔

    Evening folks,

Another manic day in the orifice, wobbled home in the grey gloom and joined some friends for a couple of beers. Very glad it's the weekend. 2 weeks until my holiday...
