Cloudy. Rubbish sleep, so a very low key day. Swept up some garden stuff for the bin. Made coffee. Moved a bit of firewood.

That was about my limit today.

Monsoon here yesterday evening, don't recall ever seeing anything so bad in the UK (we normally avoid that stuff around here). Was warm and sunny on the cycle back to the car, after coming out of the gym 90 mins later most roads had a couple of inches running water on them.

Got home and next door had left their car window all the way down, I told them and chucked a tarp over it but they didn't seem particularly bothered.

Drizzly this morning, weather warning seems to have been upgraded to amber so could be more fun on the way home tonight.

Dull and damp here but don't really care as I'm working. As long as it brightens up for tomorrows communt.

Yes,winter in a week and a bit. Mostly been fairly mild up till a couple weeks ago when it suddenly got cool. Had plenty of light rain, enough to green things up a bit.

    Morning

Very wet here. So no Boomers ride so it will be climbing for the last time for a few months as it’s shoulder op tomorrow. At some point it will be listening to Paula Vennels get grilled at the PO inquiry.

    Morwenning.

Dull, damp, dreary. Decided to drive. Bad choice. Busy day so glad to arrive dry.

Good luck with shoulder op @Webboo2 . What's the recover time prognosis?

    Sometimes. Maybe. Possibly.

So in a couple of weeks your weather will be just like ours, Spinner.

been watching, so far plenty of "i understood x to mean y", "if only i'd known", claiming not to have been told what she was told, spouting platitudes and waffling about governance

Moaning all. Gaffers done one for a bit and dropped the shizzle on my lap. Well he delegated to me so I've delegated onwards after choosing wisely. Definitely drove in today as didn't fancy swimming first thing. Supposedly in for another day, looks like tonight's cross country run will be a wet mudfest for a change.

Too many bikes according to Mrs O.

One day in a sling if the surgeon can’t repair it. Six weeks in one if he can.

    Afternoon folks,

Busy day of shirking from home, EPO got a short notice appointment to have her shoulder looked at by an orthopaedic specialist so it was handy I was home. Drove her there as she struggles to drive with it at the moment, thought I'd hook the laptop up to my mobile and work in the car. She was in there for over an hour, but got properly looked at, apparently it's somethnig with her rotator cuff and they did an X ray then a steroid injection. Hopefully that will start to improve now. Then had to dump her and the car and pedal over to my osteopath appointment. What fun.

Webboo's post on the personality disorder thread was interesting, I thought everyone calling me a know all wanker was because I am, reading his post it seems I have a mental health condition. Not being a complete twat I thought I'd better post that here rather than on a serious thread.

With all due respect I hope it's the 6 week option, but only if it does help Webboo.

Decidedly moist here too, in tomorrow but have to take the car in for a service so no pedalling.

    Ooh, Wednesday means pub later

And that'll be summer done then, the rain came back. Fortunately we had just finished planting out all the half hardies in their bed as the heavy stuff started. Then some messing about putting the Dicksonia fern big boys into their big sit out for the summer pots, heavy heavy.

Farmer Palmer over the fence is setting out the pipework for the slurry spreading, so going to be well smelly. Good timing weather wise.

Bonne chance avec le op Webman.

Mostly wet day on the FOFT (Four old farts tour), dry at start, pretty heavy rain for the of the day, in a hostel, had a meal booked at pub a mile down the road. Guy running the place said I can give you a lift there, gratefully received. On the way we asked about a taxi home, he said no chance, but if one of you isn't drinking can drive the car back for me - result!

Short day tomorrow, start sharpish before rain restarts!

Hope you get the best of the weather Vince, but doing a tour in Sweatland I presume you were prepared for rain.
