Morning all. Damp ride in but it's getting lighter. Met at the factory door by a new employee a big ginger Tomcat, boy does he pong.
Too many bikes according to Mrs O.0 -
Mornining. Hangover from awards ceremony last night. Good evening though.
Cuppa tea. Swim in a bit. Breakfast. Pack. Check out later.

Morning les Iconoclastes
Brighter start thankfully.
Got this nasty lump in the post yesterday and cleaned it up a bit:
...and fitted too but given the weather is a bit better, a decent pedal is needed before a jolly.
June is stacked high with appointments. Meh.
What they saying about your ECG @Webboo2 , surely you're in good condition for age despite high mileage and lack of service history?
Coffee

Some kind of Time Machine?

They are not telling me anything that’s the problem. The nurse who did it said it was ok but someone put a note on it to say it needed checking and nobody has apparently.

Morning
A bit damp here but as it’s forecast to brighten up later so I will chance going out on the Boomers ride. Not heard anything back from hospital since being informed someone would show my ECG to an Doctor then get back to me. No doubt they will ring when I’m out on the bike and can’t get to my phone.

thinking of the porto 'bats', looked like they were having fun, local ladyfriend was one (it's where rowling clearly got many harry potter ideas from)
ideal place for goths, though a bit sunny

That's a crime machine.

I am confused. Are you referring to your lady friend as a 'bat'?

Fart amplifier?

Morning peeps,
Decent sleep after a little pedal last night after work. Caving again today. Got a call with Tokyo and the US later on, so quite handy that I'm in the middle timezone as the other two get stiffed with a bit of an anti-social call time while I can do it just after lunch. May sauna tonight.
Time for another coffee.

Just looked at the cost of flights to Italy over the bank holiday weekend, outwards is just stupid and the return is normal.
Will resort to staying here in the rain.

Sadly I won nothing this year as I didn't enter due to time factors and missing the deadline. I was the incumbent winner from last year though. If I had entered I would have smashed it as the winning entry was a bit meh.
Swim this morning was good. Did many lengths and suddenly realised that I hadn't properly swum in a pool since 2019!!! Back then I was doing a mile during my lunch hour twice a week. Really need to get back into it in a proper way. Nice sweat in the Sauna afterwards though, followed by a soak in the jacuzzi all before a massive cooked breakfast to soak up the remains of last night's alcohol.
Sometimes. Maybe. Possibly.

Afternoon folks,
Another busy day in the orifice, moderately sunny so I wobbled in on the old Italian roadie. Far fewer gear changes, far greater variation in cadence as a result. One hurried downshift when braking for some lights resulted in the chain coming off.
Should be going to the pub tonight as it's Wednesday. Only had a few beers last night so the blood alcohol needs topping up.

Loverly day of meetings so much fun! This morning’s run was canned after smashing my toe in the dark in my hotel room 🤬hopefully it will recover later for a run

My measly 2.37 miles yesterday felt much improved. Left (rebuilt) knee seems fairly pain free, right one now aches but is managable with some anti inflamatories occasionaly.
I've been told to build on it steadily which is pretty much how it's going ATM.
May even look towards a sprint Tri later in the summer.
