Anna Shackley retires at 22
Cardiac arrhythmia diagnosed in January and advised to retire.
Gutted for her.

It must be devastating to have this happen to you, so I'm full of empathy for Anna. She is clearly very talented and was beginning to demonstrate that at the highest level.
On the other hand, she's very fortunate that this has been diagnosed before it manifested itself more catastrophically, and she's young enough that she can pursue other career options.
I wish her well in future endeavours.

She's moving into being a DS.
Shadowing for Alba the test of this season and doing the UCI courses in thr off season.
I think she'll be great. Very intelligent young woman.
