Crank Bolt SOS

Hi folks,
I recently destroyed a Crank Bolt / Dust Cap on an older bike, and am struggling to find a replacement for a sane price (for a plastic bolt).
The bike has Shimano 5600 Groupset, and the bolt itself measured 20mm x 20mm x 15mm. Any idea where I can pick this (or something compatible) up?

Don't hold me to it but I think you need the FC- 6600 dust cap. Does that sound right?
If so the only place I could see that has one is linked below. It is a special order by the looks of things though.

Try ebay assuming 4500 will fit. Looks the same costs around a fiver.

@oxoman I wouldn't be certain that the 4500 will fit.
Thanks @MidlandsGrimpeur2 , I'd say you are right.

All seem to be the same bolt - problem is getting someone to deliver to Ireland without getting crucified by postage, import duties and admin fees - which adds £20 to anything I order.

Might be worth ringing a couple of local bike shops to see if they have any spares

Ah, I didn't realise that, Ray. As Pangolin said, your best bet then may be to have a ring round. I would try and get hold of the Shimano distributor for Ireland (am assuming there is one) and see if it is a part they could track down for you.
I have had a look at a few of the bigger Euro online shops and none of them seem to stock it.

I was under the impression that they were all the same tbh.

Me to. Email Shimano. I bought one for around a fiver for 105 5800 a few years ago. No issues

Finding a replacement crank bolt / dust cap for your Shimano 5600 groupset shouldn't be too difficult, even though it's an older model. The price might seem a bit high for a small plastic part, but that's the nature of bicycle components sometimes.
