Bit damp again after yesterday's early promise.
Had fun with Shorty. She represented her school at the annual Rotary quiz and came 2nd out of 12 teams, 1 point behind the winners. I sat with some of my old teachers and Shorty's rather gorgeous teacher and had a laugh. Weren't given the right instructions from Mrs Pinno and parked in the wrong bit. Elected to walk instead of moving 150 yds to the nearer car park. On our return we found the gate locked so climbed over the fence in full view of the local nursery/child minding outfit who found this amusing - smiles, rolling eyes and shaking heads..
A few cross country trials were cancelled and the race has been postponed. Was supposed to be today so Shorty has been training with me in tow on two wheels. She's a bit demotivated and difficult to push. Say "Come on Shorty".
Must feed Beans as he's purring and nudging me very enthusiastically . He's damp again and determined to stop me typing.
Up Norf today to the paradise city where the grass is green and...

speaking of gorgeous teachers. When we had online parents (online works so much better than face to face, which is pandemonium, all the mums go over their time slot, chat chat chat, 5 mins is plenty) anyway, online parents evening, waiting for the next appointment with the head of art Mr Bagley, when suddenly the screen is filled with the beautiful face of Miss Weiner(not her real name) the boy’s German art teacher, with mr Bagley pottering around in the background. Quick as a flash me “I must say Mr Bagley, you’re looking very attractive this evening.” The desired reaction was achieved as blushing and laughter ensued. I can’t remember what she said about the boy though 🤔 She did ask him to tell his dad that he’s very funny, that’s the main thing 😎

A spot of morning fun has been had with the Kingdom of Far Far Away who got very snotty because apparently we hadn't sent them something by last night's deadline. All down to their crappy system not working properly so we gave them a suitably forthright reply.
