Sunday or a Mango Sundae? Either way there will be racing.

Apologies for taking advantage of the time difference, have sent the request for P-R to be recorded.

No gloom here although some would be welcome, for a short time only of course.

Gopro is charging ready for some snorkelling later.

Advocate of disc brakes.

Meant to be doing PR fake race today (Telford toothpaste) but pal dropped out so running with some pals.

GP is so far a waste of time getting up for.

later is probably the pub with the family as I’m away most of next week

'Kin weather turned again yesterday so waiting for wind to naff off before riding. Managed to do some stuff in the garden with Mrs. 666 after the new raised bed was out in.

For now, chilling with the hounds

Morning, Jeesus its breezy out there. Spring ride cancelled due to weather and lack of numbers. To late to take part in local running club event so cleaning the workshop out instead. Gravel bike ready, hopefully for the dirty reiver will check over later. Mutt walked / blown around local park already and currently snoring in a corner.

Too many bikes according to Mrs O.

Ahh, bless. Probably dreaming about all the little creatures he’s going to brutally murderise later.

Island hopping today, friends child ended up on a drip due to dehydration. I’m hydrating with a G&T.

Maya Bay is chaotic and full of instagram wannabes. We took a selfie and went to look at some fish. We visited ten or so years ago and it’s changed massively for the better as the tourism is less invasive.

Local cuisine later, bugs on sticks.

    Afternoon folks,

Traditional slow start was enjoyed, this was followed by some gentle pottering. Off to the old dear's shortly before going for a drink with my cousin.

Not been a bad day weather wise, just a tad mork.

    Evening

Very windy with occasional deluge. A bit noisy when the 6 thousand motorbikes on the Dave Myers’s memorial ride went past on the main road. Climbed and lifted some weights and mended a puncture on grandsons new bike but not a lot else done.

Been told to make tea so it beans on toast.

Managed a fairly breezy 2 hour jaunt round the lanes, feel better for that. Will grab a sauna then go for some apple based recovery drinks.

  • Windy, again. Gardening between showers, raised beds filled with soil. Forgot to put water in bread maker with rest of stuff so walked to the pub for carvery lunch and a pint. Shower watching and dozing after.

Gym first thing seemed to a competition to see who had the loudest stereo - us or the kids morris dancing competition that they'd booked for the same time. Apparently the people in the new sheltered accomodation next door complain about the noise as it is...

Went for a pedal over to paradise peninsular in the sunshine before the rain arrived. Was going to pedal all the way to the end with the tail wind and get the train back but decided to ride back and it wasn't that bad really. Even stopped for ice cream part way along.

River seemed to have overtopped the levees, and the marshes looked marshy for the first time I can recall. The ducks were loving it.
