Tarmac SL6 - tyre clearance

Afternoon all, I have a disc-braked Tarmac SL6, currently running 26mm tyres, but considering new wheels and tyres. Would they take 28mm on wider rims?

It's just a hill. Get over it.

    What wheels do you have? Measure in the inner rim and go online with the max tyre size for that sized rim

    if you are running Roval CL40scs then the max tyre size is 25mm.

    You almost certainly have enough clearance. Think that bike was advertised as taking 30mm tyres.

    How much clearance do you have at the moment? Allen keys of different sizes are quite useful for checking how many mm of clearance you have.

    Hiya, wheels likely to have Venn rims with 21mm internal/27mm external widths. IIRC, the SL6 does take 28 but hard to know.
