Cassette Sora 9sp compatible with Deore 9sp?

I expected they were not, but just mounted and it seems they actually are.

    Afaik all the same-speed shimano cassettes are compatible*. might have to vary/leave off the thin hub spacer spacer.

    *as long as your derailleur & chain copes with the number of teeth

    I heard the term "road cassette", and "mtb cassette", thats's why until I mounted it yesterday I just believed they were not compatible. Happy that/if I was wrong.

    MTB cAssettes definitely work on road bikes. Naming is just about the series they are listed in, and MTB cassettes having lower bottom gears.
