Forecast here was mostly dry and sunny so have arranged a ride with a friend but it's currently hoofing down and looks like it will be for most of the day so might bail.

Walk hounds and then off for a run with some pals.

few jobs and then either gym or pub as the wife is out at the theatre tonight.

Decent sleep after yesterday's ride. Soggy here so hound walking put off 'till later and coffee/ relaxation is the order of the day for now. In other news, junior has decided she's going back to uni tomorrow instead of today, so things will be strewn around the place for a bit longer.

Forecast is a bit less damp than it is now and a lot less damp than it was yesterday but not dry so I will pedal regardless 'cos i'm tough and brave and adventurous and i've ran out of superlatives.

Last day of televised cx races today. Make the most of it before the Pog/MvdP/ReEvPo domination classics fest.

That was jolly wet too though the sun popped out for the latter half of that jolly.

Came back to family wars between mum and Shorty. I'm piggy in the middle. Great innit?

Scrub, stretch nosh, resolve family war and feet up [in no particular order].

    Afternoon

A slow start was had as I felt abit weary after yesterdays wet and muddy ride. Did some stretching and a session on the once I got into gear time to watching cycling now.

  • Lovely sunny mild day here, 1st outdoor ride since 1st Jan, joined local club for some different people to ride with - social pace, thankfully!

Tired, late night after Bill Bailey in Newcastle last night, he was excellent.

    Evening folks,

Traditional slow start was enjoyed, this was followed by a few bits that needed to be done. Went over to the old dear's after lunch as she'd made a tiramisu for the EPO's birthday, very nice it was too. Did a few odd jobs for her whilst I was there. Now lying on the floor as back is playing up, very tedious. Weather has been pretty good here, even needed sunglasses at one point.

EPO's birthday tomorrow and we've got the day off. Better wrap her presents tonight.

Evening all. Busy day sorting stuff out. Managed to get new roof bars, spare wheel etc ordered for car. New phone ordered as mines died, currently using a spare thing that just about works. Did a night out last night with the OH watching some bawdy squeezebox music with a Dr Busker, plenty of banter and 🍺 🍻. Real ale to boot. On a good note its been mainly dry all day here for a change.

Too many bikes according to Mrs O.
