slow start after a decent night of ale with the current wife doing valentines stuff early as we are off to Liverpool tonight to see the student and his brother, so I assume dinner out and a few bars.

before then, a little work and a run.

Communting plans changed by rain šŸ˜ž There are a lot of half term skivers so the office is quite empty. I will be wasting some time by going on a CPR training course later. Coffee for now...

    Morning

Todays planned longish ride is looking iffy given the weather and it already pissed it down once. So it might a short ride or the turbo.

One up on Mrs W as she forgot to get me a card today or maybe she sent it to someone else. Mind she has booked us a long weekend in the Lakes courtesy of her boss.

En route, 2.5 hours in 1 more to go, to that there Glesca for another post op check meet with consultant. A busy day of mowstly sitting on my arris. And it's grey dreich again. Bring on springtime. Though did see lots and lots of snowdrops in the woodlands on the backroads bus section of my adventure, which was nice.

Morning. Rode in today. Stopped raining just as I set off. Nice. No school traffic. Nice. Rather warm - Too many clothes. Sweaty. Not Nice.

Quiet in office as per reasons above. Nice.

    Sometimes. Maybe. Possibly.

  • Cards exchanged, with a brew in bed. Sorted the kids out, got to work and things aren't looking too bad.

Got some quotes to do and a two hour physio/rehab session at 12.

Carpet fitting postponed which is a good thing as we've a house full over the weekend.

    Advocate of disc brakes.

    Afternoon folks,

Happy hump day, another one loaded with orifice based drudgery. Managed to wobble in, not as fast as yesterday because the wind had picked up. Wet roads but I didn't get rained on at least. Wednesday and valentine's day, I'll have some food with the EPO before venturing off to the pub. Hope Seano's recovered from his bop on the head enough to make the most of the day.

    Onwards and upwards...

The swelling on my forehead has travelled nicely down to my eyes with some interesting colours, reminiscent of any Rocky final bout. Missus working from home today and I get either a ā€œahhh bless youā€ or ā€œYou poor thing.ā€ every time I shuffle mournfully into the room, so pity sex is not out of the question. šŸ„ŗšŸ˜ƒ

So I presume you hope the swelling will travel even further down.

She can always put a paper bag, or two over your head depending on the severity of the dis-figuration. And yes, was referring to the head on your shoulders on the upper part of your body.

CPR training was good fun. I teamed up with my hot Polish minion and let her do the bulk of the chest pumping on the CPR dummy so she could work up a sweat. We then got to the bit about using the defibrillator and turned out our dummy was a female one and had a bra on. Trainer asked: 'so what should you do about the bra before using the defibrillator?': I answered 'reach round the back and undo the catch with one hand?'. Apparently the right answer was 'cut it off with the scissors that come in the defibrillator box', but it did cause a fair bit of giggling from hot polish minion šŸ˜‡

Mine did that, a couple of days after the bang on my forehead I could see both sides of my nose when looking straight ahead, the day after that if I looked down I could see my cheeks. Those on my face that is.

The swelling was no longer noticeable when it got lower down.

Whilst partnered with a very easy on the eye young lady in the final test of a first aid course a while back I was demonstrating knowledge of the top to toe survey. I skipped a few ribs for obvious reasons, examiner asked if that was exactly how it would be done. I explained that I had skipped that area for the purpose of the test but knew it should be done in reality. She told me to do it properly. I refused saying I thought that wasn't right and I had proven I knew what to do. She insisted, I stayed firm, fnarr fnarr. After some to and from the girl told me to just do it. So I had a good fondle and passed the course.

At elite level if you concentrate hard enough a bra will just pop open by itself.

This would suggest youā€™ve never undone a bra. You slip off the shoulder straps spin the catch to the front and undo, other wise you will be fiddling all night . Watch Mrs Stevo put hers on in the morning thatā€™s if you donā€™t have separate dressing rooms.

Now now, no need to be patronising Webby, it was just a little joke to liven things up.
