Soggy again today and have a couple of minions about to disappear for half term hols so suspect things are going to get a bit busy next week. Junior lands back tomorrow for a week so suspect the heating & leccy bills will go up and the washing machine will be off limits for a few days.

having a bubbly to prepare for party sexy shirt shopping, got the comfy chairs in harrods cafe
rain stopped, wf cafe going well
hint of sun, will it reach the north and solve all our energy problems? or will nimby gammons block the cables and pylons
my bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny0 -
That was a waste of time. Orthotics sent to wrong clinic at a different hospital! Fecking typical. Meh. Additional beer tonight then.
Sometimes. Maybe. Possibly.

just received a surprise delivery of yauatcha pineapple pastries, it seems the word for pineapple in hokkien and cantonese translates as "prosperity has arrived", truly a global fruit
nibbling one as accompaniment to coffee, it's a rather good combination, nom

Afternoon folks,
Busy day of WFH but the computer system has decided its POETS day and given me this message:
I know I'm already at home, so I take it to mean a pub. Well, we're off to the pub shortly anyway for a drink before seeing Rick Astley. I must say that i think the man is a liar, he famously sang about how he's never gonna give us up, but this is a rescheduled gig so he did give up on the fist one. Got some tickets to see a couple of old farts later this month, Rod Stewart and Jools Holland are playing in Kingston.
How was the parents evening Pinno? Any pictures of the foxy teacher? Good luck in Sweatland TLW, hope you enjoyed the big smoke. When running did you run like a normal person where you could get some space, or act like the ones that want to be seen running and try to run in the most crowded areas?
Onwards and upwards...

I had an amazing magnet for choosing roads full of people - not what I wanted

Evening
Out early this morning round to Mrs W’s parents house to get washing machine and fridge out as she’d sold those. Turned out tap on washer feed leaked so out to buy a new tap, managed to fit it with no drama. Up steps Mrs W to turn a drama in to a crisis when she decides the pins stuck in one of the radiator valves, she pulls the pin out and it won’t go back in.
So she arranges for a plumber to call later on, meanwhile the 2 estate agents turn to value the house. Then it’s up to the bank the get MiL estate transferred and then arrange with one estate agents to sell the house. Back to house for the plumber who fits new rad valve and explains why a couple of the radiators were not working.
Now back home and will shortly having a drink when Mrs W gets back from a neighbours who she’s gone to give our no longer need cat food to. Or really to find if there is any more gossip about the village New Years scandal.

Hard to avoid in central London, but the idiots that choose to run along the south bank on a warm weekend then seem annoyed there are people in the way are a special breed.
Rick Astley was fun, now relaxing back home with another beer 🍺

Whilst doing the London to Brighton off road a couple of us stopped for a pint a little over half way, others were aghast 😂

And don't be chasing those haggises; the poor wee craiturs had a rough time last month.

I saw a baby haggis being born on Hairy Bikers the other day, cute little thing.

😊 I just watched that on the iPlayer. The locals are winding up the hairy biker Inglishers, hey just watch this, this is how we make haggis, out of all this surplus leftovers. Aye right. I've seen them out in the wild, running free. I'm sure I have some photos, somewhere. Tbc.
