Cofidis, because I think Demare will snick a win soon, somewhere.

Lidl-Trek took objection to this thread and would like their name removed.

Since Astana and Ineos have no domestic calendar to lean into, I'm guessing it's going to be one of them.

Ineos tend to go large or go home so I think it could be them.

Astana win in Colombia meaning its France v Money just like 1789.

Cofidis and Decathlon-AG2R start the Tour de Provence tomorrow, Ineos and Visma are doing some races in Spain at the weekend.

What's the earliest they have all managed a win? We're down to 4 left and the season hasn't even started yet!

I take it if Bernal wins in Columbia this week that's 'no bueno' as far as this contest is concerned. How does it sit wrt UCI points?

I'd guess they still get the UCI points based on the following from https://lanternerouge.com/2022/12/24/the-new-world-tour-points-and-relegation-system-explained/

"Continental Championships outside Europe still award 250 points to the winner of the road race (more than a stage of the Tour) and National Championships (some with a very low sporting level) still award 100 points to the winner of the road race."

If points are still being awarded while racing Nationals/ etc then I'd guess Bernal would still earn UCI points for INEOS

I think you've misunderstood. Bernal is riding the Tour of Colombia for the Colombian National Team and the question was, if I understood it correctly, do Ineos get the UCI points he earns, if any, from this race?

I've no idea what happens, but am sure if you dig around the UCI points scoring rules, it'll be covered somewhere.

I knew who he was riding for :)

If i'd added the words "While riding for Columbia" at the end of my last sentence, would that of made it clearer?

Decathlon-AG2R Mondiale off the mark, as Ben O'Connor takes the Vuelta Ciclista de la Region de Murcia solo.

We've already got to the final.

    Cofidis v Ineos Grenadiers

Could this be an upset to match Leicester City winning the league?

Where do we stand on MTB wins being included? As both Ferrand-Prevot and Pidcock won their respective debut UCI ranked races yesterday.

(I am joking, before anyone blows their top).

Why does Luke Plapp winnning the Aussie ITT and RR count for Jayco, but Narvaez winning the Ecuadorean RR not?

    It did count

EDIT: I was hoping it would open to Narváez's page. Silly Javascript rubbish. He's actually got half of INEOS total points

Yes, but not as far as PCS or perhaps on this thread?

Apologies. Your talking actual wins rather than what counts for UCI points. My misunderstanding

Although they do include his win here: https://www.procyclingstats.com/rankings.php?date=2024-02-13&nation=&level=1&filter=Filter&p=me&s=wins-teams

None of which matters a jot for this thread as Nationals don't count anyway :)

Plapp's wins didn't count. Groenewegen and Matthews had won races for Jayco prior to this thread

I don't count Nationals as not every team is eligible to enter them.
