In taxi headed to Heathrow - way too early for me but got to be done. Probably won't get any skiing done today though, so will head straight for the apres.

Bleepin' painful night, woke about 4am with shoulder joint hurting like bleep, no idea why, lying in some weird position mayhap, couldn't move without swearing. Big dose of ibuprofen lessened the discomfort though still hurts when I move it. FFS, what next?
Grey claggy day, indoors it will be, have admin to do, fun fun fun. Though currently watching through window while sipping the pure Colombian a pair of red kites doing their aerobatics in the breeze.

Doubled my annual cycling mileage this morning. Turns out it's also 2 miles each way not 2 km.
Legs feel properly dead though now.
Pleasant here but breezy so probably cold again up on any of the hills.
Car has started whinging that the DPF fluid needs topping up. Not a big deal but apparently it also needs the ECU resetting when it's done otherwise it puts the car in limp home mode.
Doubt the local garage can do the ECU bit but taking it to the dealer sounds like £££

Got all my own kit so take it with me. Cheaper in the long run and better that way, specially as you need to be sure your boots fit well and the rentals can be a bit variable.

Slow start today after last nights frolics. No idea what time we rolled in but it was hell of stagger back from the village hall. We went help clear up this morning then went for a walk as we were not fit for anything else, might go to bed soon.

Slightly eventful afternoon. Boy's gf broke up with him so he threw himself down the stairs. Which is kind of why she broke up with him. Too needy, moody and dramatic and she has A levels to concentrate on.

Evening folks,
Traditional slow start was enjoyed, this was followed by not doing very much, then took the EPO to the shops and for a coffee. Never let it be said I don't know how to show a girl a good time. Got home and pottered in the garage for a bit, the pub hack is getting an upgrade. But I had to cold set the rear dropouts first, luckily that seems to have worked. The rest of it can wait for next week. Another flat on the green bike, should probably change tyres. Oxo would recommend tubeless if he was around, but I didn't get on with it when I tried before. Frame still has sealant on it that sprayed everywhere. Think I was running too high pressure.
Local garage should be able to reset the ECU for you thistle, but probably worth asking.
Hope the boy's alright B³, more importantly hope he learns from it.

Eons ago in student digs in Eeeeastbaaaawn, all we had was MTV and a dart board. We used to play for cash - 20p, 50p rarely more than that being skint students and we goy good at it. The 3 of us were playing in a pub one night and got invited to play on their darts team. 2 of us did but it was a team at the very top of the league and you had to be playing really well to get picked. If you didn't, there was often free beer and food and I would slip out down to the pool room where I learned I could make proper money. I stopped playing darts.
However, I never scored more than 2 180's in one day. 4 is exceptional (if you're not telling porkies).
