Went to see Rhod Gilbert last night which finished well past my bedtime so slow start here today.

Charity dinner with supplied booze at the rugby club starting at 1200, quiet Sunday coming up!

Checked in for tomorrow's flight, walk hounds, nip into town for few bits n pieces then pack and early night ready for taxi at stupid o'clock.

Town to chiropractor for a tune up. Then off to a not very LBS to pick up some bits to fix up the new/used gravel bike thing. Bars, brake pads, shifter cables etc. Spent a few hours cleaning old dried grease off things, reinstalled BB and cranks, cassette, and replaced bars with something more suitable. A few more things to tidy up tomorrow and it might be ready to test ride.
Still windy today, not as bad as yesterday but enough to be a nuisance.

far too busy morning for my liking with added bonus of throwing 27 miles into Stevo while he’s in pre-holiday mode. Collected child from sleep, eating leftover Cullen skink. Booze and a takeaway later.

Bunion removal and related big toe straightening. She had the other foot done 3 years ago I think, and it turned out well, so had the other one done too, as it was starting to hurt as much as the other one did.

Evening
Went for ride first time in 2 weeks and didn’t end up coughing my lungs up either. Visit to the garden centre for bird feed and in to town for shoes laces and tights for Mrs W. Later is a Burns night supper in the village hall, listening to Last dance to get in the mood.

Urgh, feetz!
An afternoon of beers drinking in various country village pubs, courtesy of local CAMRA branch who organised a minibus avec driver. A good way to get to know both the pubs, will be back to them in future, and some more locals with similar interests. Though high % were those incomer white settler Ingerlaanders 😉
Time to chill, no more beers I thang yew, and catch up with those lucky barsteward racers in sunny Mallorca.
